A Unique Experience
Dr Gareth Jones and Dr Aly Virani have teamed up to bring you a comprehensive 2-day course. It has been designed to enhance your skills, and to allow you to deal with more complex clinical scenarios when placing dental implants. They will give you the in-depth evidence-based protocols that they have developed whilst using Co-Axis, Max and Inverta implants from Southern Implants.
Co-Axis implants provide an anatomical angle correction for optimal surgical and prosthetic placement.
The Max implant allows for immediate molar placement with a favourable emergence profile and excellent long-term outcomes.
The Inverta enhances the capability to immediately load anterior implants without compromising jump gaps or soft tissue space.
This course will provide you with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience from planning to execution, equipping you with the necessary tools to elevate your proficiency in site-specific implantology. Join us to revolutionise your approach and capabilities in dental implant procedures.
We encourage delegates to bring CBCT scans of their own cases to discuss (with the group or one-to-one if preferred) so that we can help you with your case selection. Upon completion of the course all delegates will be added to a WhatsApp group (if you would like) where continuing support and case discussion will allow you to move forward with using site-specific implants in a safe and supported way.
Please Note: This course is not suitable for dentists without any prior implant experience. It is designed for individuals who are currently placing implants conventionally and are interested in exploring more advanced techniques. Additionally, it is intended for those already handling advanced cases but seeking a deeper understanding of the science and art behind site-specific implants to fully leverage their benefits.

Why Gareth and Aly?
Dr Gareth Jones has travelled the world attending some of the best courses in global implant dentistry. He has continued to practice these skills and knowledge in South Wales, performing complex implant dentistry and honing his clinical acumen over a long period of time. Gareth receives referrals from across the region for challenging implant cases. He has been using site-specific implants for a number of years and has perfected his protocols through his own meticulous audits, experience and complications. He has a passion for tackling advanced clinical cases and is excited to have the opportunity to share his knowledge so that other clinicians and their patients can benefit from his experience.
Dr Aly Virani’s clinical practice is limited to implant dentistry. When he is not placing, restoring or mentoring colleagues who are performing implant dentistry, he continues to lecture nationally and internationally. Aly has a background in clinical research and has a passion for teaching. He has been placing implants for over 10 years and his sole clinical focus has been dental implantology for the last five years. Immediate placements and restorations are his preferred options when appropriate.
